Sidewalk Project Update
As a result of numerous residents' comments regarding the condition of the sidewalks within our community, and several months of discussion with the Highway Department from Johnson County, work will finally begin on our sidewalks the first week of June. This work will specifically focus on grinding down the concrete where the sidewalks have suffered from upheaval.
Many thanks to our local representative Ron West, and to Don March from WLE, for their continued communication with the highway department in order to bring this to a soon - to - be active status. The highway department has spent a couple of days throughout our neighborhood identifying areas where work is needed.
